Hi there,
I live in Florida now, but I would love to purchase the book FRIDLEY ITS HISTORY AND PEOPLE.
Is there a way to purchase this book on line?
My mom was the daughter of Raymond and Marie Sullivan.
I believe Raymonds’ parents were the settlers in Fridley.
Thank you
I have original newspaper articles from 1965 tornado. Would you be interested in having these?
Looking for information about my Kindergarten teacher.
Year was 1961. Are there pictures available for that year with Teacher name:
Mrs or Miss : Pontikis?..
Thank you, Deborah Miller
Coni,
Thank you for your question. I apologize for the long delay in getting back to you. We recently regained control of our website as it was being run by an outside firm. We appreciate the offer of the toys and that is a very neat story. Unfortunately, we have had to stop taking donations of pretty much everything but paper items related to Fridley History due to severe space limitations in our museum. In fact, we are having a basement sale shortly to try and get rid of a lot of stuff that has been taking up too much room for a very long time. Thank you,
Mark Bonesteel
Fridley Historical Society President
I have two small cast iron toy items that were found in our yard in Fridley on 3rd Street while doing a remodel several years ago.
Since then kept them on displayed in our home. And was hoping you might like to have them.
One is a duck bank and the other a car. I believe they are from the 30-40s. Very heavy cast iron. Both found at the same time buried almost a foot down.
