What’s It Worth?

Mark Moran will appear for his third appraisal event
for the Fridley Historical Society
on
Sunday, August 9 from 2 pm to 7 PM at the American Legion.

Instead of taking place at our history center, the event will be at the new Banquets of Minnesota facility at 6310 Central Avenue (the former Maple Lanes Bowling Alley.) There is an extensive waiting list for appraisals, but the public is welcome, for no charge, to come and observe Mr. Moran as he appraises valuables, invaluables, and, in my case, nonvaluables. It’s also a good opportunity to check out Fridley’s newest banquet venue. Refreshments will be served

What’s it Worth?

Our Antique Appraisal Event was “Such a Success” we have schedule ONE MORE!

Each event has been a sell-out to get your reservations in early.

Between 100 and 125 people visited the Fridley History Center on Saturday, May 3, 2014, when appraiser Mark Moran appeared for a “What’s It Worth” event. 54 people were able to bring in their treasured items for appraisal, while many others came to listen to him share information and put a value on nearly 100 items. Mr. Moran was originally scheduled to appraise for three hours, but due to the tremendous response we received, he spent seven hours with us. Even so, there are over 100 people on a waiting list for Mr. Moran’s next two appearances.

If you want to add your name to the list, please leave a message at the History Center, 763.571.0120
